Regintech will continue to support Skype 8.x for full series of Skype gateway products

Skype announced to stop Skype 7.x support after Sep. 1, 2018 and urged users to upgrade to Skype 8.x. Please refer https://blogs.skype.com/news/2018/07/16/upgrade-to-the-latest-version-of-skype-for-desktop/. Regintech started to work on Skype 8.x support a few months ago. We will release new software to support Skype 8.x for our Skype gateway products in the near future and there will be more online software upgrade afterwards.

Skype 8.x doesn't support any API for developers, so we spent lots of efforts to keep our Skype gateway device's functions. We are working on Skype 8.27.0.85 which is the latest formal release version for desktop Skype.  

We developed a series of Skype gateway devices on Windows platforms like Windows 7, 8 and 10. Our single port USB Skype gateway solutions include SkyATA, SkyBox S1 and M-office. Multiple port Skype gateway PCI-E factor solutions include FXS solution SkyGW4C-S and FXO solution SkyGWO. With Skype gateway connected with office existing PBX, employees can make or receive Skype calls via their desktop phones. During travelling, employees can call back office via mobile Skype and talk to colleagues for free. SkypeConf is a high C/P Skype conference box which can be connected to a traditional analog conference phone like Polycom devices to enhance Skype voice quality. With SkypeConf, Skype conference is easy for you.

SkyATA, Skybox S1 and SkypeConf are dedicated devices for Skype, but they can be set at IM mode and connected with conference phones to support other softphones like Google hangouts, WhatsApp,.., etc. Thus sofphone voice quality is enhanced.  

We plan to support Skype for business in the future and we already have solution for Lync 2010 and 2013.
